Well since its 3am and I can't sleep I may as well do something useful.. So I shall share with you another of my samples using the brand new stamps, papers and embossing folders that are being released on Friday 20th Sept kicking off at 12 noon  on create and craft as we are now a pick of a week ...
This card i made using craft paste and acrylic paint  and black gesso.. .. For the background.. The bird on the branch image was  stamped in versamark and embossed with wow ebony powder.. The sentiment stamped onto a tissue and applied using the gel medium..

The water Lilly is cut from the water Lilly embossing folder.. And painted in H2o's.. I layered it with mat black card and a contrasting paper from Sheena..

Sneak peek 2

 Mornin everyone..
Today I will show you one of the fantabulous trees from Sheena.. I absolutely love these trees... Zoe mentioned yesterday she doesnt much like oriental cards.. Well I kid you not.. I've never really thought about oriental until I received these stamps and I was blown away at the images... The trees in my sets of stamps were un-put-down-able!!  They don't have to be oriental  they can be whatever your imagination lets them be.... but I think they look awesome with the papers, not too OTT.. The papers are stunning.. I used them ( I don't use papers as a rule I usually do my  own backing.. But it was no tall order to use them as they are gorgeous and not  like I say OTT)..
I matched the colours of the blossom to go with the paper .. And cut out a few lanterns from the paper.. The embelly stamps on these plates are fab and make these cards so easy to achieve.. I had a ball making this .. Hope you like it xx

I'm going to try n find time to do a canvas with this tree as I absolutely love it (Sheena's oak tree is one of my fav stamps... I think this weeping willow is a close 2nd)... I'm bogged down with Christmas orders so am not able to craft for me just yet... But I will make a canvas with this tree at some point x
for more design team inspiration go HERE and visit my teamies  as I kid you not their samples are blinkin awesome!!
Stew returns on Saturday and I shall be taking a month off as we are going off to tropical shores  soon to escape from everything and have some US time..
Thanks for your visit.. It means a lot and I really hope I can inspire you to try something different xx

Sneak peek 1

Good morning,
bright n early for me this :-) I'm usually up and pottering about but never usually on blogger!
Well today starts the sneak peeks of the new products from Sheena Douglass.. I say products coz ( wait till I tell you) it's not just amazing stamps... No no no!!
It's amazing beautiful and I mean BEAUTIFUL stamps... (scrumptious) Papers!!!! AND EMBOSSING FOLDERS. ( they are fantastic as well...  2 sizes... Including A4.. Fantabulous!!!!!) ..
So without further a do here is my first sneaky peek...

This card I've used one stamp.. Some of the paper and one of the embossing folders with mat black card, I've coloured the embossed flowers with H2o's... Oriental works well with Miri and I got to use some Miri that has been sat in my stash for years....
These stamps .. You will see them as the week progresses are gorgeous.. I've never made an oriental card before but I am addicted to the stamps... All I can say.. Wait till you see the trees!!! Absolutely gorgeous...
There will be another sneak peak tomorrow,... ( maybe not this early lol)

a golden wedding card with a difference

Afternoon all...
did you watch Sheena's show this morning?  she demo'd primary elements so I thought id have a play with mine...
Its Stews folks 50th anniversary in a weeks time, so I thought id make a card that would certainly stand out.... its an 8x8 card.....

I started with distress ink red yellow and green....

I stamped with versamark and brushed over with primary elements... I then spritzed with water...

next I dried with a heat tool and then I edged with a little black soot DI...
I then decided I wanted to stamp on this background.. so I used stazon... stamped the blue bells from the fantasy floral range...
I then mixed up some PE and painted the images id stamped...
I also stamped and embossed some flowers onto separate card ( like sheena did in her demo) and painted with PE...

I cut them out and mounted onto the background to give a 3d effect...

The sentiment is a digital generated on I did in CAP2...

here is the completed card.... I don't think it will be missed on the mantle that's for sure lol (the light had started to go so this is a pants picture... sorry)

thank you for your visit... I hope you liked my card... and I hope you try primary elements.. they are blinkin gorgeous!!!

the theme of this workshop was hidden from view... it was learning to build up layers...

the layers were made up of distress ink.. distress paint.. water.. using spritzers stencils and stamps... it was a great day... and seeing what every one created was fantastic... no ones was the same...

It's going to be a fantastic day... ( let it rain.. We won't even notice!)
Since I dropped my phone in the pond ( picture a scene from carry on camping... I was pulling a weed out of one of my pots and had the phone tucked in the top of my dress/bra... I heaved the stubborn weed and my phone catapulted out of my bra at warp speed.. Plop! I need say no more!!! Moral of story... Put it on a table or a pocket not in the top of ya bra!)
So no camera ( phone works all but the camera!)... Ill take my little Sony digi one.. And get some pics... Won't be of me!!! I'm too paranoid to be on camera ... Hate my picture taken.. But hopefully will capture all the fab work we'll be doing.. Excited muchly:-)

Reet if best get my ass into gear I've lots to prepare today
Have a great crafty day
Hugs ...for those that need one and a bonus for those that don't!
