My first ATC

Morning...
A little while ago I saw Glenda Waterworth from chocolate Baroque post on her blog and Facebook about an ATC swap... Well I'd not tried making an ATC (artist trading card) so I contacted her and got details of what I needed to do.. It was quite simple.. The work had to be 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches with my name, date and blog address on the back... Glenda had asked for the trade to use chocolate Baroque stamps ( no problem I have lotssss)
 I used   Floral bouquet

I used primary elements as my colour medium ...

I started off by stamping the image in versamark and using clear embossing powder... Then I made my vibrant background by splodging on PE (dragons dance set)... I spritzed with water I also stamped some random small stamp images in water to get background watermark effect...
Then I stamped in black stazon... And I bleached out the image using a koi water brush full of bleach .. I then stamped the image on a piece of card and cut out one of the flowers ( in my case the yellow one you see in the pic) and decoupaged it...
So there you have it... My very first ATC which is now in the hands of Glenda Waterworth...
I'm currently visiting my sick mum up north and have been invited to go to Chocolate Baroque HQ for a nosey today... ( Stew is sweating in case I bankrupt us lol)
I shall let you know how I get on and what I buy... Such an honour to be asked by Glenda... It's a very small world... she lived about 6 miles from me when I was younger living up north... Who knew!!!
Reet I'm off to pack as we are heading back to Pompey today after our Chocolate Baroque visit.... As I have work to do... ( and stew has decorating haha)

New show samples

Morning everyone xx
I have been making some samples for Wor Sheena using her milestones of moments and nature accomplished stamps...
All the mediums used are H2o's (the carnival set is the one I have used) .. Dragons dance primary elements, ice silk, cinnamon silk, distress ink ( chipped sapphire and vintage photo, seedless preserve and a smudge of fired brick).. And some grey alcohol pens...
I've used tattered lace and spell binders dies for the embellies...Ohhh.. And string...

This one uses the primary elements as the background... I stamped in versa mark heat embossed clear wow powder and then splodges on PE... The stamp was painted with H2o's

This is done entirely with H2o's and a little distress ink...

You can take your shades off for this one... Simple card.. Painted with H2o's highlighted with grey marker...

This one is stamping in chipped sapphire, using a wet brush to give a water colour effect... And then I highlighted with luminarte  ice silks ...

This one I used H2o's and I also used the crackle stamp from the aging beautifully stamp plate... The tree I added a little cinnamon silks...

Again H2o's splodges background I used the crackle stamp in vintage photo.. Spritz of gold...  Stamp image water coloured with H2o's...

This one I stamped onto paper and used pebeo matt medium to stick it to the corrugated card... ( I did try stamping direct but it looked pants)
I didn't have craft card so I used some packaging and inked over it with vintage photo...
So there we have it...
Thank you for your visit...
Sheena will be demoing the stamps Wednesday the 27th November at 10am on create and craft TV..

A birthday card for my hubby

Morning all...
It's my hubby's birthday today so ive made a card using the new Sheena Douglass shell stamps and a few of Ryn's stamps too... Stew and I both like exploring coral reefs so I knew these stamps would be perfect...

 He loved his card...

I used the Shells by Sheena.. And the clown fish, the bubbles and the background stamp are all by Ryn..
I coloured using luminarte silks and H2o's and some Tim holtz distress ink..
I decoupaged the shells and the fish to make it look realistic..
Reet.. That's me for today..
Thanks for stopping by..

Afternoon

Well I'm waiting for a delivery of some new stash from Sheena.. The samples she needs like yesterday! ...and ..the courier hasn't shown up yet .. Oh dispair!!!
Instead of driving myself crazy pacing... I made a card for my father in laws birthday... can I add I really dislike making men's cards... I'm not a man so I don't know if a bird on a branch is suitable... Well in this case.. It had best be.. Coz that's what he's getting lol... ( maybe shouldn't have photographed it on a purple background.. Hey ho.. My black one is somewhere safe :-0 )
I used Sheena's a little bit oriental stamps for the main image..
I threw everything at it.. Distress ink.. Distress paint.. Glimmer mist.. a stencil and wow powder... Here is the result...

Hope your all having a good week... I decorated my bedroom yesterday so that is now one less room to do.. The hall way and my craft room are next on my list (after I get the samples done).. Followed by the kitchen and bathroom.. Deep joy!!!
Reet.. Back to work..
