feeling a little blue

afternoon...
well I started this canvas a week ago... my head has had brain stew all week... so today I decided I was gonna mix it up with the fabulous Dina Wakley scribbly birds...

this will be  my entry for the CC3 challenge 4..  layering stencil - texture paste found on page 49 of Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities 3 book...
which is sponsored by funky junkie who are offering a prize of $25
and also Tim and Mario have got some goodies for the CC3 teamies to choose a winner too..

reet here is my canvas...

Ive used a mixture of Tims stencils and others from my stash..  some spellbinders dies... Dina Wakley scribbly birds..
The background I used the technique... and coloured with a mix of distress paint and distress stain.. I added a little gilding wax... and some pencil  (to highlight around the cogs stencil)..

Evening all

Good evening from a beautifully warm Pompey.. Was up in the 20's today.. Hot enough for me :-)
Anyhoo.. I thought I'd blog ( as I've been slacking in the blog department recently)..
It's the final day for challenge 3 in the compendium of curiosity challenge.. So here is my entry

I've used the faux tea rose technique  illustrated in Tims compendium 3 book page 65
I've also used his stamps and another die of his.. (The embossing folder is crafters companion) I've used ripe persimmon, peacock feather, mowed lawn and spiced marmalade distress ink..and a little black archival..
there is a $50 prize from Inspiration Emporium for the winner... and also a chance to win some fab items from Tim and Mario...
